Father’s Day is looming on the horizon, so Ford wants to help with your gift giving by offering up a few ideas, as well as explaining its philosophy behind licensing the blue oval. Licensing, as you’d imagine, is big business for Ford, and some 45 million Ford-logo items were sold at retail in 2011. That translates to sales of $1.5 billion, so it’s no surprise that Ford is careful who it licenses its logo to.
